BUSINESS JETS & TURBOPROPS Quick Reference 2024

BUSINESS JETS & TURBOPROPS Quick Reference 2024

PLEASE WAIT FOR NEW 2025 EDITION - SPRING 2025

Compiled by Steven Sowter and Ton van Soest, and the Air-Britain News Team

This is the 22nd edition of this annual publication, covering all of the world's civil and military business jets, business turboprops and corporate airliners, it is correct to the early February 2024. The aircraft are listed in registration order and the entries give full type and construction number information. Each category of aircraft has its own distinct section of the book and there are pages for personal notes at the end of the book.

For the second year running, increased numbers of aircraft have appeared in each section. In the business jet market, the Falcon 6X became available in November, replacing the Falcon 7X in the Dassault family while the Citation Ascend, which will replace the Citation XLS, is under development. In the business turboprop arena, the Textron King Air range is dominant, and it continues to develop the Denali. Daher continues to expand the TBM range and has an backlog of more than 100 aircraft and the Pilatus PC-12 family continues to see in good numbers.

For 2024 we are printing the books on a high-quality matt finish paper

AIRLINE FLEETS Quick Reference 2024

PLEASE WAIT FOR NEW 2025 EDITION - SPRING 2025

!<<em>>!!Compiled by Terry Smith and the Air-Britain News Team

AFQR, the market-leading airline fleet book, as always lists the fleets of airlines operating anywhere Worldwide. This year we cover 184 countries and 1,398 airlines, providing details of some 37,300 aircraft ranging in size from the Jetstream up to the Airbus A380. The data includes registration, type, c/n (plus line number where appropriate), status and where appropriate fleet number. A separate appendix lists Corporate and VIP airliners in both civil and military use.

To facilitate use of the book throughout the year details of known forthcoming deliveries, due in the next 12 months, are included. Aircraft that were in storage at the time of going to press are indicated by a hash (#). A diamond is used to indicate aircraft that have undergone some kind of 'change' in our lists (for example, it is a new entry, it has been transferred from one airline to another or has undertaken some other movement such as retrieval from storage or returned to the fleet following conversion work).

As in previous years, we are offering the book to members as a spiral-bound or softback book. When ordering from the website please be sure to use the correct pull-down option or indicate clearly on your order form which version you require.

For 2024 we are printing the books on a high-quality matt finish paper
A5, softback or spiral-bound, 320 pages.
The price differential is due to increased costs for postage and packaging the spiral bound edition.

Business Jets International 2024

Steven Sowter and Barrie Towey – Editors in conjunction with the Air-Britain News Team

Now in its 39th year, BJI is THE reference work in this field. The current edition covers over 30,500 airframes in the extensive production lists, from the earliest Morane-Saulnier Paris and Lockheed Jetstars of the 1950s to the latest Falcon 6X and Gulfstream G800. Civil Aircraft Registers of The British Isles 2024 (CARBI24)

Civil Aircraft Registers of The British Isles 2024 (CARBI24)

Editor Sue Bushell – In conjunction with the Air-Britain News Team

Believed to be the most comprehensive register available, CARBI 2024 lists all United Kingdom, Ireland, Isle of Man and Guernsey aircraft current on the register of those countries plus overseas-registered aircraft based in those countries. Also covered are aircraft that have joined but left those registers since publication of the last edition, and non-current aircraft still extant, under restoration, in storage, used for ground training purposes or resident in museums. The main sections of the register are updated to 1 June 2024.

Each individual entry contains the registration, accurate type, constructor’s number, original registration date, all previous identities, the registered owner(s) and the probable base. Extra information provided includes Certificate of Airworthiness and Permit to Fly expiration dates, no-flight and evidence of insurance dates, plus notes on the original aircraft constructor, markings and names carried and, if not active, the airframe’s status. The types in each section have been indexed.

There is a separate section containing the British Gliding Association register with handy cross-references to competition codes carried by gliders, including those that carry G- markings instead of BGA numbers.

The complete register of over 650 aircraft that come under the aegis of Aviation Heritage UK (formerly the British Aircraft Preservation Council) is included along with those that are known to be covered by the Irish Aviation Historical Council.

Further sections include civil-registered aircraft held by museums and collections in the UK and abroad, a decode table for aircraft flying with military serials, and lists of overseas registration and B-Conditions prefixes.

The handy tab system along the side of the page enables easy navigation from section to section.
